  8. Nestor                                        Peace, drums!

  10. Soldiers    [Within.]    Achilles, Achilles! Hector's slain! Achilles!

  12. Diomedes    The bruit is Hector's slain, and by Achilles.
  13.  
  14. Ajax    If it be so, yet bragless let it be:
  15.     Great Hector was a man as good as he.
  16.  
  17. Agamemnon    March patiently along. Let one be sent
  18.     To pray Achilles see us at our tent.
  19.     If in his death the gods have us befriended,
  20.     Great Troy is ours, and our sharp wars are ended.
